We are currently looking to recruit for the roles outlined below:

Role: Bat Ecologist
Location: Chelmsford, Essex

The candidate will hold a bat license and will be either an experienced professional in a consultancy based role or in the public sector but looking to move into consultancy. The candidate will have successfully applied for and implemented Natural England EPS licenses and will have experience of planning, coordinating and undertaking bat surveys in a variety of environments. In addition the candidate will have experience of habitat surveying and will have experience with other protected species survey, although licenses are not required they would be desirable. The candidate will have to be self motivated and organised as they will at times be required to work unsupervised.

The successful candidate will be joining a young company that has been established for 3 years. The company has both in-house consultancy and implementation teams and often runs projects from start to finish. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and will have the opportunity to become the lead bat consultant. They will receive a yearly training budget and will work in multidisciplinary team that will enable them to develop professionally.

Salary: 26k - 30k

Role: Three Temporary Field Workers Required
Location: Chelmsford, Halesworth & Hillingdon

The candidate will ideally have experience with reptile and amphibian projects and will have their own transport. They must be able to work unsupervised for periods and keep accurate records. Report writing skills would be beneficial..
